The GSP females can be hard work, the old one has always had a mind of her own and the young one learns off her when she would be better learning off the Vizsla male who is calm and laid back. Him and I, we often look at each other like "sheesh".gsp you must be a glutton for punishment 2 gsps and a vizla
The old one points really well and very stylish, done some excellent work on pheasant in her younger days and when they were plentiful here. The young one points quail well but have struggled with her on the pheasant it has been difficult to even find any though last few weeks she has been getting some good practise in.

I've been doing the same Hillclima, getting some birds in before the season.
Really happy with this little dog, three coveys of brownies this morning, only had to drop him to flush once with the whistle the rest he just dropped himself. needs some shot for him now

This covey he found whilst working down wind, so he was pointing in my direction. Birds got up between us with me facing the dog
hows the englsh pointer breeds retrieving in general pointer??

Picked this fella up today, parents good duck retrievers come off a farm. Only 7weeks old

top picture was today on a run up a local track worked up the goats to a mob just to watch them. can any one guess the breed of him as the other day I was running with him and a older man with his city dog made a comment to his kid that ask what breed he was and his dad turns around and say oh probly some mongel breed hahahaha. little did he know my dogs blood line is a top trails dogs
