He would love a tree house. Our one loves helping with the fire wood. When cutting it up he grabs it piece by piece and takes it around the back of the house or trys to relocate all the wood from the shed to the back of the house, and he has his own pile outside his house as well.

Yep she certainly has that look to her but very placid and quiet so far. Gets along well with my nut case viz which was the main thing. We have the cat and sheep intro still to do so will just have to take our time.

Got the dog away from his usual lunch time walk around the roads yesterday. Took him to a cycle way along the Waikato river heading out of town. Bit of farm land, some water and pockets of bush. The Pukeko were being a bit noisy and he showed a bit more interest in normal towards them. Although not a target species i like to let him do his natural things to indicate, etc. so i can learn his behavior and tells. I dont excite him or congratulate him over what he's doing and pointing in this video. I save that for when i know he's working deer.

Nikau is a week off 10 Months. I'm starting to feel more confident about getting him into the bush soon. Sometimes his range gets a bit too far, and his recall is a little slow. He slows down, hears me but he chooses to ignore the 1st couple calls.

Quick picture from a week ago playing at a stream and rope swing with my kids.
