    Another track bites the dust

I am glad that after eight days away from me on his wee holiday, my "sheep dog" as the Police Delta calls him, can still track how we were last week
Very cool. What do you have in mind for him with his tracking work? Do you want to hunt with him eventually?

The tracking we are doing is very different to hunting (we are doing IPO or Schutzhund style). I don't really have a goal other than having fun at this stage. Jet doesn't have the drive to do the other two parts of the Schutzhund 'triathlon'. He may be able to do very basic bite work but he would fail miserably at the protection tests! I am not sure about hunting either as he is still very noisy and eye focused when it comes to prey.

So for now it is just a fun game to play with mum

He is very different to handle compared to the police dogs as I am sure you can imagine. It's like he is asleep compared to them! So chilled. Low drive compared to working lines. He's still my baby though and I love him very much and we enjoy our tracking.

He is owned by a girl remember

Blue martingale is the go-to at the moment as I can whip it off over his head. Black and grey harness (it's front attach, we are waiting for our custom made tracking harness to arrive...), orange one for around home but now that he isn't left outside due to the recent dog thefts, he goes naked around the house. Hasn't Mrs EBF dressed Fred up in a pink tutu yet? Bwahahhaa

A Malinois x GSD popped up needing rehoming lately, he was very full on....man I wanted that dog.... If I did not have Jet, I would have been in with a grin. He would have been a SchtH champion and yes he would have chewed your ass off Phill

f'n awesome, he won't leave them alone. some of the funniest shit i have ever seen is him herding the rooster, the rooster is an orpington so a massive bird and no matter which way he tries to go Jordie stops him, after a while of going around in circles the rooster just sits down with a messed up look on his face.

he came from a breeder up these ways, they imported blood lines from scotland and have a sheep & beef farm so he won't be persuaded to leave them alone. He knows he is not supposed to chase my two angus two-year-olds but can't resist, he has resorted to checking to see if i can see him before he has a go at them.
