So sorry mate. I’d be pretty cut up if Sacha went like that. You mentally prepare yourself to have to say goodbye at some stage, but expect many more good years ahead.

Really sorry to hear that. It must have been a terrible shock. I'm sorry for your loss, my wirehair is about the same age and I'd be gutted if that happened.

Oh mate. So so sad to hear.
He was an awesome dude. I did enjoy the couple of times I met him.
They burrow in to your life way more than you realise.
    RIP Remmy.

    All the best
He nui to ngaromanga, he iti to putanga.

You depart with mighty boasts, but you come back having done little.
Sounds like a typical hunting trip !

    mate......what can be said???

find a good place to plant him,go visit him from time to time and sit, have a cold one and remember the fun times.
as others have said,at least it was quick and he was doing stuff he loved at the time.
the little huas take a big part of you with them when they go...he will be waiting by the gates for you in many years time, tail wagging and stupid grin.

    That hurts,
I lost a Young one a few years back and still think about him, he was a special one.
Still stop in to see him when I'm gardening that spot.

Damn that’s sad. Sorry to learn of your loss.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

They never live long enough, but losing one so young is just heartbreaking.

The pain now is how you pay for the joy before - I'm so sorry for you.
