as above my condolences , losing a pet is like losing a part of the family. if it doesnt feel that way you shouldnt own a pet ever again

Bought a tear to the eye. Your post, and the replies and the cool photos!

16 years since my one and only lab was lost (6 years old). Never a day goes by...

It's funny how they can be a right pain in the arse at times but when they're gone you miss it.

mikee it mightnt be yours but that is far too good not to share....fair hits the nail on the head.
find a good cool spot in shade of a tree to lay him to rest,go sit awhile with a cool beer everynow and then to be close to him. my dogs are planted around my favourite hunting spots where they loved to be,its not the same but kind of nice to just sit and be with them when we visit.
