    Sorry to hear that Thar,

I remember when you got her as a pup and posted about her training and progress on the hnf forum and I enjoyed following her/your progress together,

Tilly had a great owner and would have seen more of the country than most people, you have given her a great life. Its never easy to let them go, a dogs love of their owner is unconditional.

Aw mate that is terrible news
She had a great life but that is of little consequence at the moment, and no matter how many times it is said to me when I lose a mate, it never really helps until many months later. The more time you spend together, the harder it is when they leave.
Best wishes to you and the family at this difficult time Tahr

My condolecences Bruce. I've followed her from the very start on the old forum, it's been a remarkable journey. The thing in my mind that sticks out the most is that her entire hunting career has been documented. It really cleared the air in terms of game numbers a passionate hunter can expect to shoot over a dog in its life. Prior to Tillys arrival there was so many bullshit stories of tally over a dog. So thank you both for setting the record straight. Rest easy Tilly.

    Bruce, my sincerest condolences mate.
Never an easy decision to make and if your anything like me there is no justifying it, I felt so guilty when we made the decision to end our old girls suffering even though it was the kindest and most compassionate thing to do.
No shame in admitting I blubed like a child when she left us to deal with her passing.
I've said it before but I'll repeat it, she may only be a part of your life but you were all of Tilly's life.
They leave a big hole in your heart and a lump in your throat.
Hope you enjoy the memories for years to come mate. Thank you for sharing her with us all.
    Rest in peace sweet Tilly
