    Yep, Paddock beside "Paintball" and also further down (don't think you go that far) beside Stop Bank (past Original pond).

    'Only seem to get them in the ex Cow paddocks with the long grass. Other paddock no issue. 3 Phessies found on Wed night and a big mob of quail in the shitty stuff in paintball.

    Thanks for that. Retrieve training Sunday afty down there so will tell them to check their dogs just in case.

    OK, In that case we might bring leads on Sunday walkies. Many dogs = too much temptation.
    Look in the paddock to the right as you drive up onto the stopbank from the main road. Been a boy pheasant there most night this week sitting in the sun

    At last the scrub is growing back on the riverbed rocks, and 3 half grown pheasant in there this afty. Haven't seen anything along there for couple years, not even the quail that used to scratch around the edge so a good sign. I waded across the river and a fairly big area for them to run about east side of the river across from paint ball. Nice little "lagoon" back in there too. 3 ducks came out of the willows. Road entrance looks way upstream.
