Hi Abe,
I have a Rem mountain rifle in 7mm-08 but I was wanting to re-barrel to .260 AI. What sort of cost would that be? Also do you think the mag is long enough on a Rem S/A to seat the bullets out to a decent length?

That's cool mate, for match barrel fitted an match chambered will be 760, depending what sort of accuracy your after as well it will/might not need a true up as well. The mmagazine will be plenty mate to get them to lands of my reamer an if more room will throat hurts out to suit.

Thanks for that. I'll do some sums and get back to you later. (Have to add up dies, lapua brass etc that goes with the build.) How much do you think the courier cost will be to get it to/from Wanganui?

I can but some it comes up mint an some it don't come up as good as I would like, ill point you in the way of status guns they do a nice job on ones I have seen

Greetings from Seattle. I am looking for the same stock work and bedding on a Sako A7 in .270 WIN. Will probably use the rifle as is over Christmas / New Year in Southland and leave it with my cousin who has a NZ FAL. No real time line for the work as I won't be back until late 2014. Thanks.

The do fit most are a straight fit if threads are not to loose, to put a sako 260 standard barrel on?
would be $750 for a Vulcan match fitted or $900 for a Trueflight UM fitted
