Interesting base for a rebarrel. Has it gone back into the original xpr stock?

    Hi,
Yes I believe it has, but the barrel channel had to be opened up a bit. The Winchester XPR and the browning AB3 are the same rifle pretty much, only the Winchester has a real metal trigger as the browning is a plastic one.

    Good Morning,
This one is for the lefthanders, and it is a rifleman's rifle! a Craig Boddington special, a Winchester 70 left hand.
The first I ever seen, I am not sure if they are still produced and if many are in the country.
It is in 300 win mag, it has a very nice and well bedded stock, a mid-heavy barrel and finished with one of our brake: all the attributes of a good long range hunting rig.

How long are the barrels now that your over barrel section is longer on the new model? I guess you can have similar overall length with a slightly longer barrel compared to the old unit.

I've never had a hard kicking lightweight before, but yes that little carbine certainly got my attention but it doesn't really fit with what I want next, which is a Browning BLR in .358 for the real heavy forest red stags round our way, which I can't find anywhere. The rifle that is, I know where the stags are ha ha. I thought about it though... It isn't technically for sale and I'm not inclined to make a silly bid. That guy has got a couple of other unused rifles that I'd buy ahead of that carbine any day.
there is one forsale....its in the BLR wanted thread. a mate in Sweden uses one to great effect, thats in a laminated mod 7....
