Thread: TLRS Surplus Steel 2024

Surplus Steel is back with a few new surprises for 2024.
Saturday, 27th January 2024.
Ahititi North Taranaki (15mins south of Mokau)

This event is for as issued infantry service bolt action rifles with iron sights only.
Rifles must be in original, as issued conditions with no modifications that were not standard alterations done by the respective military who used the firearm in service.
Bayonets will be back this year! If you don't have one we will provide a dummy rifle with a bayonet for you to use when required.
No sporter rifles.

The round count for the day will be 100 rounds minimum.
Steel targets will be at random distances from 100-300m and one a bit further out on one stage only.
Cost for the event is 130 per shooter.
This is most expensive event we run and has the highest entry cost, but trust us that we are not just upping the price for no reason. There is a very good excuse for this that will become apparent on the day.
There is a major spot prize from NZ Milsurps that all competitors will be in the draw to win and also a prize for the best dressed that will be decided by the match staff.
A post match BBQ will be provided at the end of the day along with a few non alcoholic drinks
