Something a little different on my work bench. This old trophy New Caledonia Rusa from 30 years ago had a accident at party and "fell" off the wall, broke the Left antler which popped the eye out and tore the skin in several places.
All finished this afternoon and ready to go back to the customer.
very nice work on that rusa Billbob
I delivered the rusa back and the he says do you want a fallow head to clean up and have for payment? Couldn't refuse this monster, it had been unfortunately killed by another buck in the paddock.
Two big mid Canterbury stags which some will note the typlical Rakaia traits, been in a shed for years so a re skull clean and bleach and ready for proper display.
This one below probably has to be one of my favorite for this year with enormous pedicles and throw back style on that RHS
Qns for the experienced.
I have this fallow I want to mount.
Q.1 How do you fix it to the board bolt? Wire?
Q.2 If bolt where to in the skull?
Q.3 Teeth, how do you clean them up?
Q.4 Teeth are loose, do you glue them? Type?
Thx
