    pre 1950s taxidermy 'halycon era'

Gentlemen of Better Lands , hope all is well.

Been meaning to ask if any of the gurus or the older Gentlemen who may of been in the know back in the earlier days and might of heard something from a bit earlier again..... In Regards to howwwww the old Wapitis, Iconic Red stags an all that Jazz from NZ was 'Tanned' prior to Mounting ?

proberly say 1950 for a benchmark, a little north of is fine in terms of methods on tanning but the earlier the better for this instance please

    Thank you all...

May not be the best week to reach out to the family there. Sad to report that Lance O’Rourke passed away earlier this week
