Any bow hunters down in Dunedin?

My partner and I are always out with his bow but have never come across anyone else down this way with a bow? Anyone around with the old struggle stick?

I used to partner up with a guy from the states who shot a longbow here in Dunedin. We used to practice a lot. I saw him shoot a goat through the heart once at 55 yards. I shot a rabbit once, but never did take the bow deer hunting. I used to worry about injuring deer with my poor shooting. I used to worry about deer jumping the string. Twenty years later I still havnt shot a deer with an arrow.

But lately this year I have been thinking about getting another bow again and getting some practice in before the roar next year. That would be the best time for a bow hunter I believe.

I am an old school traditionalist. I would be shooting a longbow again and making my own arrows.
