Some cool crossbow pics - Excalibur from Canada

I listed these for sale - but I reckon you all might like to see some very nice crossbows made by Excalibur in Canada. They specialise in recurves - practically no moving parts so great for hard hunting and maintaining your own gear (unlike compound crossbows with cams that get out of time with string stretch):

"Micro" Series Excalibur 308 Short - 254# draw weight

    308 Short when cocked:

"Widebody" Excalbur Vixen II - 150# draw weight

    Side by side comparison:
Excalibur Vixen II on the left, Excalibur 308 Short on the right – night and day size difference!

    Any questions, let me know!

I've actually listed these for sale if anyone is interested:

Heh yeah the Micro is pretty tiny - US hunters wanted small for shooting from blinds. But to get small, Excalibur shortened power stroke and make the limbs smaller = to get similar speeds to their larger models, heavier draw weights to get the same performance were needed. The Micro series has been a best seller.

It's got to the point where rope cocking the new models with 280# draws is just too much and cranks are needed.
