I just watched two restorations on fire-damaged P38's (Youtube ) there will never be a fire-vid on a plastic-pistol resto..( I understand their Place in things , just Not my place ) Each to their own , Wood and Blue all the way for me

    Oh no

    Now you have started it.

My 2c, cool gun well ahead of its time. They don't seem to do high round counts well, pretty much all the old ones I have seen have had the slide replaced or welded due to cracks.Bulky for a carry gun but that's of no consequence to a target shooter.

Very nice "toy", my man! And as my bro-in-law (future Bishop of Auckland) said to my wife" "The Lord sayeth... a man cannot have too many firearms, too much firewood, or too many gun books. Amen". Thank you God, for delivering this man to my family!
