Sad news. Moe mai ra rangatira.
Enjoyed your contributions, your old mauser rem mag and love of fine rifles. You will be missed.
I met Owen a few years ago when I did a southern adventure where he took me out wallaby shooting at the time, a really nice guy, extremely hospitable and as many others have found he’s a true gent with a big heart ❤️
He’s been a great guy on both the old forum and this one!
Death comes for us suddenly and unexpectedly, condolences to his family.
Fark just got here now RIP mate, you will be sorely missed. Feel lucky to have met you and shared some yarns.
Never met Owen but talked to him quite a few times. We talked about me coming down to do some training for the company he worked for. I would have loved to have spent time with him. Sadly it will never happen now.
Owen was part of the glue that held this forum together. His memory can be best honoured by members' behaving on here as he wished and as he was.
Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing, and right-doing, there is a field. I will meet you there.
