    All bar one of them were smokers...... In fact my mother commented "just about every photo he has a smoke hangin out his mouth".....

    Well, that sucks Scotty. Maybe you should start drinking big botts of Lion rouge in his honour.....

    Yes, I too dread that phone call. I've seen a lot of death and destruction in my lifetime, but it certainly cuts deep when it's your own family.

    i stopped drinking big botts about 25 yrs ago ahhh i remember he days we used to make homebrew (more like pigswill) had a mate that worked at dominion breweries that got us labels and caps , we would go to parties with a crate each put it all in the ice bath and drink lion red all night.....

    Condolences Scotty as my dad gone but mum still steaming along!
    Every now and again when I head to the pub that stocks big bottles I enjoy a wakatu or a speights.
    Not very often these days you see them.
    The Gretna in taihape still does so when I head down that way usually call in and have one if I know some one thirsty!

    They live on in our memory,my dad passed when I was 20 ,I’m 53 this year and still think of him often,the pain of death dulls with time and you are just left with fond memories.condolences.
